The Great Antler Ley
Sounding the Way — A Journey Through Sonic, Mythic, and Mnemonic Fields
Released January 2026
A ley made not of stones, but of resonance. A line you do not follow with the eyes, but with the bones.
The Great Antler Ley is a ritual manuscript, field guide, poetic artefact, and scholarly heresy.
Woven across years of walking, listening, performing, and dreaming, the book tracks a speculative ley line — not the kind plotted on old maps, but one felt through the body, memory, and vibration. The work reimagines the ley not as geography, but as frequency.
A mytho-poetic path linking the antlered dead of Star Carr to sonic archaeology, deer trods, ancient ritual gestures, submerged landscapes, and esoteric kin long exiled from the academy.
This is no dérive. This is a manoeuvre — a walking as reading, a landscape as grammar.
Structured as an Ritual Digital Artefact (RDA), The Great Antler Ley is released as a long-form, artist-made PDF via the Editions Store.
Written prior to a subsequent ontological shift in the author’s practice, the work is issued here as a situated field document — a record of a speculative terrain once actively inhabited.
Release date: January 28th, 2026
Praise for The Great Antler Ley
“This book reveals hidden paths — paths to be sensed, rediscovered and walked, in the earth, in the bones, and in time.
The Great Antler Ley positions history as a matrix of echoes, not to be declared, but experienced, offering an essential way to reconsider the concept and relevance of the leyline.”
