Gruppen

A resonance field. A ritual terrain. A post-band formed by Tim Brennan and Dean Brannagan.

Gruppen is an expanded sonic entity operating across performance, soundwork, and conceptual publishing—trading in a form of post-metal poetry, where distortion meets invocation.

The work exists as what the artists call Ritual Digital Artefacts (RDAs): longform soundworks, documents, performances, and visual residues that move fluidly between physical and digital forms. These artefacts are not commodities, but traces—deliberate probes, sites of resonance, fragments of ongoing action.

Editions released under Gruppen are not illustrative. They are material extensions of the resonant field—a convergence of sound, text, surface, and site.

Field Bomb (Limited Edition Poster, Gruppen, 2025

Not a band. A field.

This limited edition poster marks a signal site in the expanded operations of Gruppen, the post-band collaboration of Tim Brennan and Dean Brannagan.

At first glance, it’s a wall of noise. Graffiti. Score. Trace.
At its centre: the Gruppen eye — seared into the red strata of gesture and invocation.

Gruppen is not a band, it is a field
a site of post-metal poetry, sonic terrain, ritual document, text-mark, and refusal.
This is not ephemera. This is inscription.

Drawn from the same resonant zone as Concerto for Antlerfolk, 23 Deluge, and Whitestarr, the poster surfaces not as merchandise, but as a printed sounding on movement and matter.

A surface inscription.
A visual artefact of the noise underneath.
